IDB adopts CeibaQ as the MRV verification layer for a $200M Amazon biodiversity bond.
Multilateral capital · bonds underwritten on verified ground truth.
CeibaQ is the Amazon's reference data layer — built by AWAKEN. We measure the rainforest directly (gas flux, eDNA, acoustics, LiDAR) and fuse two decades of ground data into verified ground truth: the data that carbon, biodiversity, accounting and disclosure standards all need but none can produce. We're not a standard — we're the ground truth that feeds every standard. Build it once, keep it live, and become the data layer no nature-finance player in the Amazon can operate without.
Not a slide deck. AWAKEN built CeibaQ’s full institutional, legal and IP foundation over 22 months on founder capital. The raise activates an already-operational company — it doesn’t form one.

CeibaQ ground truth is methodology-agnostic — we cross-mapped what our nodes measure to what each standard's methodology actually requires. One measurement; the data every framework below needs but none can produce.
A whole sensing system — nodes, drones, lab science and two decades of government data — feeds ROOT, the Amazon reference datamode. Built once on anchor sites and kept live, it is then monetised across five streams at near-zero marginal cost.
Nature is becoming an asset class — carbon, biodiversity, ecosystem accounting, nature-linked bonds. But today's proof is satellite guesswork, and the credibility gap is stalling capital. Whoever owns the verified ground truth owns the layer every instrument must cite. We are building it for the Amazon first.
The data is collected and ROOT is built once. Every additional buyer of the same per-hectare dataset costs almost nothing to serve — near-zero marginal cost, compounding margin.
A J-curve: heavy early investment in ROOT, then high operating leverage as one dataset is sold many times.
Earliest, cheapest equity. The heavy science capex is designed to be carried by non-dilutive grant/MDB capital — so equity isn't diluted funding a flux tower.
Gas-flux + eDNA + acoustics + LiDAR, fused with 20 years of government data — an integrity premium commodity satellite data cannot match.
On a steep long-run curve as biodiversity and standing-forest finance scale.
Access, calibration and trust — years of local relationships to replicate. Direct-measurement integrity plus a data network effect: every node sharpens ROOT.
Conflict-free by design: independent VVBs verify our own credits; the neutral data layer is ring-fenced from credit-selling.
Biodiversity, carbon flux, micro-conditions and integrity — streamed from the forest floor, the way ROOT is fed.
SIMULATION — illustrative; no node deployed yet.
Multilateral capital · bonds underwritten on verified ground truth.
Registries & developers · integrity premium on issued credits.
Jurisdictional licence · donor / MDB-funded, per hectare.
Compliance demand · the standard a national buyer trusts.
Hypothetical illustrations of how CeibaQ ground truth could be used — not actual engagements, commitments or endorsements by the named organisations.
Pre-product, pre-revenue. Not-yet-built capabilities (notably ROOT) are shown as planned, not present. Financial figures are base-case model outputs, not promises. The node-telemetry view — including camera feeds — is a labelled simulation; no node is deployed yet. Documents and the query layer are scoped by access tier.
