Pricing & Jurisdictional Licence

Per-stream pricing (summary)

  • S1 Own credits — carbon (protected ~$2–5/t, higher-risk ~$10–18/t high-integrity) + biodiversity (conservative); CeibaQ keeps 40% after communities/holding.
  • S2 Monitoring — per-hectare subscription (minimum floor + regressive per-ha) + 5–15% of clients' credits.
  • S3 Jurisdictional — per-hectare tiers, below.
  • S4 Data-only — enterprise licence $30–250k/seat/yr.
  • S5 Royalty — ~2% of ROOT-verified credit issuance.

Jurisdictional licence — per-hectare tiers

Priced on forest hectares, regressive (large jurisdictions pay less per ha), each including a sampled drone overflight (~5% stratified) that satellites can't replicate:

Tier (forest ha)$/ha/yrExample
Large (>15M)$0.10Loreto 35M → ~$3.5M/yr
Medium (3–15M)$0.30Ucayali 9.5M → ~$2.85M/yr
Small (<3M)$0.75San Martín 3.3M → ~$1.0M/yr
Pilot / lighthouse$2–3.5high-touch first deals
(plus a fixed platform fee per jurisdiction)

Who pays (critical)

Not regional treasuries — donors / MDBs / results-based funders (PROFONANPE, World Bank FCPF, IDB FIP, GEF, ART/TREES, Article 6.2 buyers). The state is the customer-of-record; a climate-finance line item pays.

Total addressable (jurisdictional stream alone)

The full Amazon = ~44 subnational jurisdictions, ~600M forest ha → a ~$117M/yr theoretical ceiling at list tiers (Brazil's mega-states dominate). Realistic near-term: a handful of donor-funded anchor jurisdictions (~$5–15M/yr ARR).
